The Origin
TRACIT
Technologies is a spin-off from CEA-LETI created in april 2003. It is
located in Grenoble area in the French Alps. This new company industrializes
processes using direct wafer bonding and mechanical thinning down. These
technologies are well adapted for layer transfer on full wafers as well
as die transfer.
In
November 2003, TRACIT Technologies secures its first round funding of 2.5
MEUR to speed up marketing of new products obtained by its layer transfer
technology.
TRACIT
Technologies has got a license on LETI patents and got a research contract
with CEA-LETI. The company uses 200 m2 of clean rooms and has access
to a complete set of characterization tools.
The objective of TRACIT technologies is to be a major actor in the
field of processed layer transfer and die transfer.
